Cookie policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Some are essential to make the site work; others help us understand how the site is used or make our marketing more relevant. We also use similar technologies such as pixels and local storage — this policy covers those too.
How we ask for your consent
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks what you're happy with. Only essential cookies run without consent — analytics, advertising and other non-essential cookies stay off unless you switch them on. You can accept everything, reject everything non-essential, or choose category by category. Our tags respect your choice through Google Consent Mode.
The categories we use
| Category | What it does | Providers | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Makes the store work: your basket, checkout, sign-in, security and fraud prevention, and remembering your consent choices. | Shopify; Pandectes (stores your consent record) | No — always on |
| Analytics | Helps us understand how the site is used — which pages work, where visitors get stuck — so we can improve it. | Google Analytics; Shopify analytics | Yes |
| Advertising | Measures our advertising and can show you more relevant ads elsewhere. | Yes | |
| Functional & marketing | Powers extra features such as product reviews, and connects site activity to our email service so we can send things like basket reminders (only where you've agreed to hear from us). | Judge.me; Klaviyo | Yes |
The full, itemised list of cookies — names, purposes and lifetimes — is always available in the cookie banner's declaration, kept up to date automatically.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- open “Cookie preferences” in the site footer (or the banner icon) and adjust your choices;
- visit our Your Privacy Choices page to opt out of data sharing for advertising;
- or block and delete cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you clear cookies and block them site by site (blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the store working, such as the basket).
The legal bit
We set non-essential cookies only with your consent, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR. Essential cookies are used because they're strictly necessary to provide the service you've asked for. How we use any personal data collected through cookies is covered in our privacy policy.
